You deserve to know.

On the topic of what we deserve from life.

I spent a long time trying to explain with kindness my feelings on what anyone deserves to a friend of mine who just doesn't seem to get it.

And she started feeling sorry for herself because of how she treated others.. 

So, I asked my dearest friend and heart,

T: "Do you believe in words like "deserves" or the idea that you should get a certain treatment just because you are you?"

E:

"No. Anyone who isn't a child and hasn't learned from life that no one deserves anything is an idiot."

Her reply was swift, sure and perfect in the moment. It is the, in your face, to my holding of the hand. Together I think that makes a FACE PALM!
