Fear Claims another with their consent.

This true story is based on facts that can be produced to support all within it.

The images will be reveal their important, I promise.

It is also an abbreviation of heartaches and confusion, fueled by fear and mental health issues to reach a preconceived ending that only exists because fear was allowed to take over. Be that as it may, it is over and happened as it did. No other outcome exists now, but all those involved made the decisions that forced this fantasy to ruin a life long friendship.

Told in past tense, in the format of a Fairy Tale of the real world.( An ending that does not need to be judged as bad or good.)

"In the quiet town of Fargo, an unsettling story unfolded - a story of Kirsten, a tormented soul battling bipolar disorder and delusional schizophrenia, whose fragile grasp on reality led her into a world of illusion where her close friend and housemate, Titus, became her true love.

Kirsten's life was a rollercoaster of emotions, swinging from manic highs to crushing lows. In her lucid moments, she was aware of her mental turmoil and genuinely devastated by her actions and the damage she created, yet as time went on her delusions took hold and her  perception of reality was clouded by those fears.

She became convinced that Titus, her steadfast friend and confidant, was, in fact, her boyfriend and deepest love. This distinction was entirely in her own mind and Titus had engaged Kirsten regularly in open discussions to assure that she had not slipped into believing a false narrative existed between them; and she always said everything to confirm that she understood their boundaries and respected them,, but she was only saying this as a defense against losing the object of her alternative life..

In her mind she feared he was abandoning her for other lovers. And to this end she would engage strangers online and tell her false narratives to them as truth. Many a conversation she exclaimed how Titus had broken their rules, rules mutually agreed upon at the beginning. She would then feed her delusions on the words of encouragement given to her as a loving victim. There being no facts to support this narrative was enough reason to fabricate them.  Always looking for ways to connect unrelated events to justify her illusion as the victim of unrequited love and emotional neglect.

As such this became her reality, one that she kept hidden from Titus for 2 full years. She did so for so many years that she forgot the truth..

Titus who is naïve and trusting whether that is a fault or a blessing remained unaware for a long time

Titus also has a near perfect memory and since it was not perfect, he made sure to document events and maintain the hard data, original data that supported his memory of events.

He had documented their friendship in many formats over the years because he cared deeply for the real adventures and good times they had had; and there was nothing to suggest he was wrong or had misled Kirsten. As he dug deeper he found a paper trail of her deceptions', bank records that showed a history of lies told to her loved ones to scam money from them that she did not need, and spent with selfish abandon.

Lies told to Titus to rob him of income promised for work done that she then used to spend on her own constantly needs for escape and recognition. Leaving her friends, family and even herself poorer by all counts in the end.

In the everyday world of their shared home, Kirsten and Titus navigated the delicate balance of their friendship. Titus, ever patient grappled with understanding and did his best to help her stay aware of her own place in her painful world of persecutions she felt the victim of from everyone; narratives of self loathing by others that had never taken place.  She refused to confront and speak openly with those she condemned for crimes against her that  never happened. Her fear was dedicated to supporting her pain, and Kirsten had convinced herself there was no reason to confirm the hurt she felt was real by communicating with those she accused from afar.. To.do that would make her wrong for being and doing what she did, and her self image hated her more than she did.

Kirsten, however, lived in two parallel worlds - one where she and Titus were deeply in love and she lived as a victim of her love for a man who did not cherish her, and the other where the reality of their friendship was slowly eroding as she became more aggressive and fearful of him leaving and never coming back..

In her fantasy world, Kirsten and Titus shared passionate, imaginary moments - candlelit dinners, long walks along the shores of a make-believe beach, and whispered declarations of love and the future of family and child. These dreams, though beautiful, drove a painful wedge between them in the real world. Kirsten would often become irrationally jealous, convinced that Titus was hiding his true feelings, while he struggled to maintain their platonic bond.

For years Titus tried.  His genuine trust in his ability to help her caused him to dismiss the warning signs that piled up,, and he blamed himself for them as his own failings..

As the seasons raced by in Fargo, so did the dynamics of Kirsten and Titus' relationship begin to warp. In the depths of her manic episodes, Kirsten would shower Titus with undesired affection, leaving him bewildered and conflicted. But when her depressive phases descended, she would accuse him of betrayal and abandonment, unable to reconcile the idealized lover in her mind with the friend who stood before her.

Their home became a battleground of emotions, with the walls echoing with Kirsten's anguished cries and Titus's desperate attempts to soothe her fractured mind. Their friends, sympathetic yet powerless, watched as the two spiraled further into a turbulent abyss.

Titus, grappling with the painful reality of Kirsten's illness, sought guidance from mental health professionals. They advised him to gently confront her delusions and encourage her to stay on her prescribed medications. But Kirsten's paranoia grew stronger, and her belief in her fantasy world more unshakable.

One fateful evening, amidst a torrential rainstorm, Kirsten and Titus confronted the culmination of their complex relationship. Kirsten's delusions had reached a breaking point, and in a fit of despair, she lashed out at Titus, accusing him of betraying her love.

Titus finally confronted her fear, but she could not what see what she had done anymore. She had long ago abandoned the truth for this hurtful script she clung to. She became violent and defensive of her fantasy world and in a rage, attempted to convince Titus that he was the one who had forgotten their covenant of love and devotion.  That she had done nothing but give and he take. When faced with proof of her having been stealing money and precious items from Titus, she flew into a frenzy of screaming and hatred filled litanies; then as Titus was trying to escape her home, she attacked him physically. Titus had decades of self defense reflexes and did not allow them strike back,, but defend himself he must and allowed the charging Kirsten to feel her own attack as he redirected her momentum back the way she had come.. She went half way across the kitchen,, and scooted to a stop on her butt. Kisten was about to attack again but switched to the wounded victim and tried to convince them both that Titus had just flown into a rage and attacked her out of no where..As he grabbed his last bags and ran out the door she could still be heard accusing him of all the crimes she had committed. Many of which he had never known she had done in the first place.

Titus, heartbroken but determined to help Kirsten, made a heart-wrenching decision. He left their home temporarily, hoping that his absence would force Kirsten to confront her delusions and seek the professional help she desperately needed.

Alone in the stormy night, Kirsten was forced to confront the stark reality of her mental illness. In the absence of her beloved Titus, she slowly began to unravel the tangled web of delusions that had ensnared her.

As the days turned into weeks, Kirsten, with the support of therapy and medication, started to regain a fragile sense of clarity. The realization of her illness and the depths of her delusions brought her to her knees. She longed for Titus, not as the lover of her fantasies, but as the friend who had stood by her through it all.

Titus returned, cautiously hopeful, and the two embarked on a challenging journey of rebuilding their friendship on the shaky foundation of Kirsten's recovery. The scars of their tumultuous past remained, a constant reminder of the thin line between love and delusion, reality and imagination.

And then she allowed both her own and Titus's lives to be destroyed through her inaction when faced with a massive infestation of bedbugs. She had been ignoring them for so long they had taken over the majority of her home. When Titus discovered the infestation he did all he could to fight it back to at least a stand still so action could be taken. Kirsten chose to ignore all Titus begged her to do to help stop it, and moved her self and her bugs into his room. Titus for the first time became a target for the bugs which it turned out he was deathly allergic to and he was forced to leave her home for his own safety. He worked to coordinate the retrieval of his belongings during a series of deadly winter storms and blizzards while still living in his van. All his things he was okay with being in quarantine for the next year. And all this just two weeks before Christmas, with one blizzard after another piling up outside and still Kirsten did nothing. Finally, Titus who had moved into a shelter coordinated to get the last of his things from her home, but while visiting the day before to sort them, even his hazmat gear could not stop the attack of the bugs,  the air in her home was thick with the fecal particulates. Titus ended up in the hospital, having suffered an immune system collapse and damage to his lungs, and there he slept for 2 days before being released.   Once released he found that Kirsten, who had done nothing for 6 months of this tragedy had decided to throw everything Titus owned in the garbage..  As it turned out she only threw away what she did not find value in and time would bare witness to her selfish rage. She had stolen his most treasured belongings, both those of monetary value and those most cherished items of memory.  She would exclaim that she had not done any such thing, only to have Titus dig the object out from under the things she had packed after she had thrown his life away.

And Titus, he hated that he could not hate. He tried to let it go as just stuff, and it would have been if he had not been faced with finding her thefts each time he visited.  Titus had traveled his whole life, and as such all his worldly goods fit in 4 or 5 packing totes and a handful of bags and luggage.  It was a life concentrated that had crossed the world and back and the memories within were picked and cared for deeply.

The last time he visited her, she asked for help finding something, which led him to uncover two of his most beloved keepsakes; A copy of the book his mother had read to him since he was 7 years old, Inscribed by her to him. His 1st american printing of Peter Pan which he had read to both his nieces and his friends children he had helped raise going on 20 years.

As she saw the book she tried to say that it was her own copy, which could have been possible if not for the inscription. Titus left and after some time, made the decision that there was nothing he could do for Kirten or himself except to stop. No more pain, no more lies, and for Kirsten, she could live in whatever hurtful fantasy world of victimization she chose with no one there to prove that she was lying to herself and anyone who would listen; a world of her own truth.

Titus finally accepted that he had been the ruin his own life by allowing himself to react entirely to the whims of her fear. His own weakness to help those he cared for prolonged by the cries of help and desperation of a one time friend.

In Fargo, Kirsten's story became a haunting testament to the power of mental illness and the enduring strength of friendship and the limits it must have unless one allows themselves to be transformed by the others fears.  The tale of love, loss, and ultimately, redemption in the face of the most formidable adversary -  fear in the human mind itself was once again tested and like love fails to fear; fear wins when it is believed in. Titus went his way, the story concluded; he went to ponder all that had happened; the weakness within him, the strengths that he had doubted and triumphs of brilliant presence that he had brought back to Kirsten's life. He will learn what he can from this crushing event and when the time is right, his heart will open again..

With only hope in her poisonous fantasies of love Kirsten would fuel her disappointment in herself for having done everything she could to prove him wrong. She proved her fear was real to her; and she could unleash it on everyone, and it could hurt them."
